CRYSTAL UPPERCUE, Marketing Manager of EU Services

Crystal has over eight years experience in the direct marketing industry. Crystal played an integral part in implementing EU Services’ marketing leads program, a strategy that has contributed over 35 percent of the company’s revenue in new customer sales. She now manages the EU Services' marketing program, from retention and acquisition to branding and positioning. As a regularly featured columnist in Marketing AdVents and numerous other industry publications, Uppercue is also the face of EU Services. Most recently, she has helped implement automated workflow processes into EU’s customer database to advance their lead nurturing program.
CINDY KILGORE, Manager of Creative Development

Cindy is EU’s resident creative strategy and cross media expert, with over nine years of experience in the direct marketing industry. Her expertise in design, marketing, and production technology made Cindy a pivotal link in the implementation of EU’s cross media services over three years ago. Today she oversees creative development and campaign planning for the EU Services’ marketing department. She is also busy assisting EU Services’ customers in improving their direct mail programs and developing integrated campaigns that leverage the power of personalization, direct mail, and the internet
CHRIS KONKEL, Vice President of Data Processing

Chris has over 15 years of experience in the direct marketing industry. He is responsible for the general management of the EU Services’ DataComm division, which provides direct mail list hygiene, file programming, postal presorting, and print personalization. Chris serves as a liaison between data processing production, sales, and customer service in discussions with customers. He has worked over the past several years to help implement EU’s latest variable data printing and personalized url technology.
DAVE LOUDON, Vice President of Mail Processing

Dave oversees the mail processing and fulfillment department of EU Services. He is an expert on postal regulations and regularly works with the U.S.Postal Service to implement and test new postal technology. Dave has been with EU since 1987. Most recently, Dave helped EU establish co-palletization services that have enabled customers to save over $1 million in postage. Dave also has developed software to send postal forms and documentation to the USPS electronically, utilizing the USPS mail.xml platform in preparation for utilizing the full-service IMB.
PAUL NICHOLSON, Vice President of Information Systems

Paul is responsible for the overall management of EU Services’ computer and networking services. He also provides IT services for the corporation. Paul is involved in the development and implementation of web-based communication programs such as online inventory management, digital collateral management, web-to-print, and personalized url campaigns. He serves as a liaison between EU’s customers and the MIS department for the development of customer campaign websites, emails, dynamic content, data capture, reporting, and CRM integration. Paul has been with EU since 1998.
MIKE GUTSHALL, Vice President of Business Development

Mike has been in sales, sales management, and direct marketing for most of his 25-year career. During his two years at EU Services, Mike has been involved in data processing, list acquisition, direct mail creative development, caging and results analysis, cross media application development, and direct mail package production. Having worked for a large fundraising firm for many years, Mike also has a talent for helping customers evaluate direct mail packages, formulate optimal breakeven response rates, and improve return on investment.
NANCY FREEMAN, Manager of Corporate Training and Customer Development

Nancy brings a wealth of experience in all facets of direct mail. At various times, Nancy has been responsible for creative strategy, lists, campaign analysis, and production of direct mail packages. Her professional background includes managing a national list company, project coordination for a political fundraising agency, production manager for a fast-paced direct mail agency, and senior account management for a large insurance company. Just prior to coming to EU Services, Nancy was an independent direct mail consultant. With over 20 years of executive sales experience, Nancy is viewed as a partner and consultant to her customers. She regularly helps them learn industry strategies, keep on top of new technologies, and improve the effectiveness and profitability of their direct mail. Nancy has taught seminars about various aspects of Direct Marketing for many professional organizations, including The DMA, the Direct Marketing Association of Washington, DMA of Kansas City, Printbuyers Online, AFP, of Maryland and others. She has been a featured speaker at EU University since its inception in 2001.
Paul W. Buohl, Manager of Estimating and Planning

Paul is EU Services resident expert in the three P’s of direct mail: paper, planning, and pricing. Paul manages EU Services’ estimating personnel and activities, including recruiting, selecting, training, and evaluating estimating personnel; monitoring paper inventory and cycle times; maintaining pricing and profits; and penetrating new markets. Paul also serves as EU Services’ Chain of Custody Coordinator for their FSC and SFI certifications. Paul’s tenure with EU Services began in 1992. Prior to assuming his current post in 2000, Paul worked in EU Services’ estimating, planning, and customer service departments. Paul holds a B.S. in printing management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Kevin Litten, Marketing Services Account Executive

Kevin’s career at EU began in March of 1999, as a data processing Project Coordinator. Prior to coming to EU, he had worked in retail management. Kevin was promoted to Team Leader in data processing before becoming a Marketing Services Account Executive. In less than a year, Kevin’s creativity and intuitive sales ability quickly moved him into outside sales where he has continued to excel for the past five years, receiving numerous sales awards. Kevin provides unique creative ideas and marketing solutions for his growing base of large non-profit organizations. His creativity allows him to push the envelope and develop non-traditional packages that have an impact. For example, his love of animals has led him to develop successful campaigns for many animal non-profits across the country. Kevin shares his expertise through seminars that he presents onsite for his clients, as well as at several direct marketing conferences. Kevin’s expertise extends to large insurance and retail organizations.
